Someday We'll Find It

Someday We'll Find it - A rock’n’roll tribute to Jim Henson, was a labor of love created by Supple Fox and Julie Monty Montan.

May 16, 2010 marked 20 years since the tragic passing of Jim Henson. As one of the most widely known puppeteers in American history and creator of The Muppets, Henson was a friend and inspiration to so many and his funeral has been described as an “epic and almost unbearably moving event”.

In Tribute to his life and work, Julie Monty Montan and Supple Fox lovingly put together a rock’n’roll variety show of Muppet anthems complete with dancing vegetables, sexy chicken showgirls, Statler & Waldorf, Yip Yips, Miss Piggy, Lydia the Tattooed Lady and many more favourites, performed by an array of local bands, dancers and comedians.

Created with the Henson motto of "entertainment for everybody" in mind, we teamed up with Thornbury Primary School to involve the students in the making of the show. With all of the proceeds going towards an artist in residence program for the school.
