Walk This Way

As part of our engagement with Melbourne International Arts Festival, Supple Fox produced Walk This Way, a collection of curated walks.

Walk This Way unveiled eight very diverse personal experiences of Melbourne from a selection of Melburnian artists and icons, including Matt Preston, Rob Adams, Kate Ceberano, Julia de Ville, Bert Newton, Alan Brough, Neil Mitchell and Kaz Cooke. Each curator presented a hand drawn map of locations that are significant to them.

As well as their obvious practical value, the beautifully produced maps designed by Elizabeth Carey Smith are crammed with hand drawn directions, pictures, personal stories and tips and are as individual as their curators. Each curator also put together a playlist of songs to accompany their walk which were available on ipods from the Visitors Center.

This project proved to be one of the most popular of the free events in the Festival and the maps were very quickly snapped up!
